Brick & Patel LLP Welcomes New Additions!
2016We are pleased to announce that Meryl G. Finkelstein has joined Brick & Patel LLP as a partner.
Ms. Finkelstein utilizes her extensive knowledge of estate and wealth planning techniques and skills to counsel clients on a wide variety of estate planning, business succession, and wealth transfer issues. She has provided her expertise on trusts and estates matters for over 25 years to a broad client base. Meryl’s former career in the securities industry has given her a keen understanding of investment strategies, and how they can be utilized for gift and estate planning purposes.
As a member of the Estate and Gift Taxation Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Ms. Finkelstein served on a subcommittee that drafted the initial version of the revised New York decanting legislation that was enacted in 2011, and is a frequent speaker on the subject of decanting.
